Chachi

Story

In Chachi, you play as an auntie from Mauritius going around solving her life issues with her trusty bucket of water.
Dirty laundry? Throw water on it! Flowers are sad? Throw water on it! Cheating husband? Throw water on it!

Gameplay

Chachi is a short narrative game with direct control and limited actions:
pick up liquids (and other things) then throw at the problem. 

Each level is an illustration from a fake series of Mauritian books featuring the eponymous auntie.

Inspirations

Thank Goodness You're Here for the type of single action gameplay and the series of books Martine for the presentation and format. When I saw what the theme of the Geek's Game Jam 2025 was the Unwritten Chapters of Mauritius, I wanted to create a character that felt part of a lost series of stories and was always in the Mauritian zeitgeist akin to Tikoulou.
